I now have a Live Journal. All LJ users can add me -- izkariote -- to their surely extensive lists.
Still undecided about moving out of here completely though. I like pitas.

Err... I didn't bother putting in an entry for yesterday because nothing really happened. Call it post-Christmas break fever.
So. Tuesday. Hm. I went out with my dad and my brother because we only had one driver for the morning; I got to listen to my dad talk about Saddam Hussein and his capture. Pio said something about the sentiments of the USA... according to him, it's scary how that country can pick a country and declare war against them for a noble cause.
I must have your attention by now. Let's look at it this way then: the USA's original reason for their war against Iraq was the rumored presence of weapons of mass destruction. There haven't been any reports. What did they do next? They turned it into a "save the Iraqi people" thing. Lastly, they built up the anti-terrorism publicity and used it as their final reason.
Mind you, I don't think that Hussein is any better. What I'm asking about is who the real tyrants are. The definition of a tyrant is he or she who bullies those who can't fight back. Sounds accurate enough, ne?
Anyway, I digress.
Since I went out early, I showed up for class way ahead of schedule. Everything was smooth until Math 11 came along. Go figure.
Khursten went home early; she got sick. T_T Ended up alone for a bit before sitting in with some of my guy friends at the Caf. When they had to go to their Filipino class, I wandered over to the smoker's pocket garden near SEC and ran into Pao... we sat around and chatted a bit before two more of our communal friends (Tim from my Foreigner's Filipino and Enrico from Math; they all knew each other because they came from Ateneo high) came for a cig. After realizing that we were all free for the next 1-2 hours, we ventured out of campus in Enrico's car (sexy, sexy thing, that one...), and headed to this cozy little hole-in-the-wall in one of the nearby condominiums. We all talked while I drank some beer and watched them smoke. It was fun. ^_^
Here comes the clincher for today though. PE 105 turned out to be a free cut, so I actually didn't have to wait around campus for four hours. *sigh*
Spent some time with Mayene and Ruth watching EJ, Tony, Jacky, Jed and Miyo play basketball till they had to go to class. Got picked up early by the driver, and rode home listening to Iron Maiden and some more old school stuff. It's funny how music from that time was great with the guitar work but low on the lyrics... I never realized that somebody could sing for over five minutes about deja vu.
Came home to find that my little brother had invaded my computer to play Ragnarok; my dad had taken over the station he was usually at, so he didn't have a choice.
*twiddles with her computer settings*
Hm. My mouse does this trippy thing where if you slide it a certain way, the arrow disappears for a bit and comes back at the other end of the screen. o_O Must be the mousepad.

kae, an 18-year-old girl who considers herself a piece of God's driftwood in the tide that is reality. Curls up in front of her computer when she isn't on the ateneo de manila campus, and loves to write stories, especially if they are about boys bonking other boys. Buy her Cherry Coke and maybe a box of Strawbery-flavored Pocky, and she will give you her soul.

sake and cigarettes v4.0 was born from a picture from the twisted manga series MPD Pyscho and personal revelation about one's feelings for another. It is named for a song by Trust Company. The site is best viewed at full screen with eyes wide open.
